She still faces up to 10 years in prisonif convicted. Aaron Goodwinstarred in Ghost Adventures, an American paranormal and reality television series. In the series, Goodwin explored reportedly haunted locations in search of paranormal activity. However, the scariest thing in his life might have been just under his nose. Aaron’s wife, Victoria Goodwin, was arrested in March under charges of solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder after she allegedly plotted to have her husband killed. Shocking discoveries showed that she might have tried to facilitate an assassination attempt on Aaron. After investigating the matter, the police alleged that Victoria had been communicating with a Florida prison inmate. In messages obtained by the authorities, she wondered whether she was a bad person because she chose to end Aaron’s existence over divorce. To make matters worse, she allegedly reportedly provided detailed information about Aaron’s whereabouts to facilitate the alleged murder attempt. The inmate Victoria communicated with is currently serving a sentence in a Florida prison for murdering family members. The man was allegedly offered $11.5K to kill Aaron. Fortunately, prison officials discovered the inmate’s contraband phone before he could harm Aaron. At first, Victoria denied conspiring to murder Aaron and insisted that she was merely fantasizing about being single. While she admitted that she and him experienced marital issues, she claimed that she didn’t recall sending some of the messages. Conversely, Aaron, who was devastated by the news of his wife’s betrayal, said that he had believed their marriage had been going well. For context, he married Victoria in 2022 at the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland. Aaron filed for divorce on March 12, opting to end his relationship with her, and requested that neither party receive alimony and that their shared assets and debts be divided under Nevada law. He later thanked everyone who supported him during these turbulent times, including his social media followers. In the meantime, the prosecutors agreed to drop one of the two charges against Victoria. As it turns out they offered to drop the charge of soliciting murder. Conspiracy to commit murder is considered a Class Bfelony. If convicted, Victoria risks between 2 and 10 yearsin prison. However, her lawyer said that she could also only receive probation. As of the time of this writing, Victoria remains booked at the Clark County Detention Center. Her bail has been set at $100,000 and she is scheduled to be arraigned on April 10.
